Getting Help in the smsQ interface
To get Help from smsQ, click on the i icon on the right of the field. A Help text will be displayed to assist you.
Managing SMS
When you get your SMS message on your mobile, reply to it and see the message on your smsQ Inbox/Replies and on your email (use User Option to change). In the smsQ Inbox, click on your received messages and see the related message displayed at the bottom of the screen.
Address Book
Add entries to your Address Book but first click on the Category name below so that you can customize any of the five Category Names for your use. An example is to create Work, Personal and Key Customers categories for your Address Book.
Forwarding SMS
Under Send SMS , go to User Options to set where you want your incoming SMS to be forwarded to, i.e. email and/or mobile (message credit charges apply).
Quick Messages
Under Send SMS , go to Quick Messages and you can customize upto 5 Quick Messages for easy use to prepare your standard SMS text. smsQ has two preset Quick Messages for * Message Taking and * Meeting Scheduling.
Changing Passwords/Profile
Click on Account and you can change your password and also your profile details.
Credit Balances
Click on Account and you can check your message credits balance.
Multiple Recipients
You can use any combination of mobile numbers in the Destination field and the highlighted Address Book entry or entries to send your SMS.
Cut and Paste
If you have your mobile numbers in a Word or Excel document, you can highlight, copy and then paste into the Destination field. It is an easy and quick way to use mobile numbers from your other documents.
Merging for Multiple Messages
Click on the Advanced Options to use the Multiple and Batch messages features by a text file containing mobile numbers. This is most useful for export of data from your current business systems to generate the SMS message via smsQ. You can also use the Excel Spreadsheet feature to send your messages.
